Zambia: The Future of Africa

Zambia is the future of Africa.  Our country  is blessed with mineral resources  and a driven people  to lead  such a rich continent. This vision can be achieved with new ideas from a passionate generation.

It’s an idea that a youthful generation can introduce new ideologies and help enrich the lives of Zambians and take this country in a new direction. I believe with newer thinking and new ideas, we can put Zambia on the map and influence development and growth on the continent in the same way our forefathers fought for independence and liberated this beautiful country from the hands of our colonial masters.

Better governance and stronger policies to improve the lives of all Zambians. Better education, a better health care system and more opportunities for younger people to help them nurture themselves and grow the economy of the country. The best way to do this is let the youth have a say in their future and we can only achieve this when we have a seat at the table.

THIS IS CHOOLWE’S
VISION FOR ZAMBIA

We’re in a battle for the soul of Zambia. It’s time to remember who we are. We’re Zambians: Peaceful, tough, resilient, but always full of hope. It’s time to take back our country, our land and our resources. It’s time to put Zambia’s future first.

It’s time for younger leadership to be at the table—and show patriotic leadership. It’s time for equal opportunity for the younger generation, equal rights, equal voice, and equal justice.

The middle class isn’t a number — it’s a set of values. Zambia will need a new lease of life driven by a younger generation in order to achieve this. The youth are the key to the prosperity of this great nation. With the work set to be done in Mapatizya, this will be the starting point to for a new Zambia, influenced by the voice of the youth. Across the country, too many families are being left behind due to poor leadership and little to no concern for the well-being of the citizens.

We need to rebuild this country following the poor leadership effecting weak policies in managing the country. Their mistakes should not make us suffer. We must take responsibility in making decisions and determine what is best for the country, through the voice of the youth.

We have to rebuild the the country: Young people are the backbone. Growth of The Middle Class.

Young people form a high percentage of the middle class and underprivileged population of Zambia. The country is not working well and there is need to get more young people to work in order to have a healthier and better economy. The middle class isn’t a number — it’s a set of values. Owning your home. Giving our children a better education. Being able to save and get ahead. Across the country, too many Zambian families are being left behind. We need to rebuild the middle class and this time make sure everybody comes along; with young people taking responsibility with the right opportunities. The time to bring change is now.

We’ve got to make sure our democracy includes the youth’s voice.

Zambian politics are broken and exclude too many Zambians. Until we fix our systems; voting rights, freedoms of expression, and gerrymandering, they will continue to get more polarised, uglier, meaner and disrespect the real feelings of Zambians.
